Been a while, but the racing hasn’t lent itself to making much money. Lots of poor quality racing and short priced winners has had an impact but we are now in the peak period for the summer racing and we think we have a value race for us in R9 Eagle Farm
We had two other races to look at, but in R7 Eagle Farm - The Harrovian and R8 Caulfield - Tavidance are both very short, so difficult to bet in the race and profit. Especially since we think they will both win.
You can’t make a profit unless you want to back them solo, but we think they are under the odds for that, but we are reluctant to bet against them! In Brisbane race 9 we can bet on the main hopes and make a profit which ever wins!
So that’s the race we have settled on.

GEE TEE TEE fits our profile Tough young horse, lightly raced, perfect record, on the way up. Extremely hard to go against so we won’t. Everything suits. Won before over the distance. Stepping up after impressive early runs over less distance ticks all our boxes. 2 units
Has won 3 up before and last start was an impressive run at an unsuitable distance. Drawn to get a perfect run for his pattern of racing Has a touch of class but not quite convinced of his 1600 credentials so 1.5 units
Such an honest horse! How many others have been placed 19 times from 23? Positive switch to Maloney last ride and he retains. Can take up a position or come from behind so seems an excellent chance. Looks a place special but we only want it to win at 1.5 units.
PEPPI LA FEW
Strange name! but we don’t care. It can gallop this one 6/2/9 at the distance is good enough for us. Third up is good. Has a touch of a good horse in the making. Will get a great run from the barrier and can take up apposition and may leave them flat footed. 1 unit
Just niggled at us when we were finalising the data We have been in the industry for a long time and when we get a nudge, we rarely ignore it. Had enough areas to almost qualify as 3rd rated. If not here then will bob up next start at Gold Coast. Course, distance great and the jockey change last start was positive and he retains the mount. Likely to go very well. 1 unit
